Welcome to myradio.click
This guide will walk you through setting up your radio station from scratch. By the end, you'll have:
A fully configured station
With your branding, description, and settings
Programs for your shows
Each show gets its own program with images and info
A weekly program grid
Your broadcast schedule that auto-generates episodes
Widgets on your website
Embed your schedule and on-demand content
Before you begin: Make sure you have a myradio.click account. If you don't have one yet, sign up here.
Create Your Station
Your station is the container for everything - programs, episodes, presenters, and widgets. Let's create one.
Go to the Dashboard
Log in to console.myradio.click and you'll land on your dashboard.
Click 'Add New Station'
Look for the "Add New Station" button on your dashboard. If this is your first station, it will be prominently displayed.
Fill in Station Details
Enter the following information:
- Station Name - The name of your radio station
- Description - A brief description of what your station is about
- Timezone - Important for scheduling! Choose your broadcast timezone
- Station Logo - Upload your station's logo (square image works best)
Save Your Station
Click "Create Station" to save. You'll be taken to your new station's dashboard.
Pro Tip
Choose your timezone carefully - it affects when episodes are automatically created from your program grid. If your station broadcasts in a specific region, use that region's timezone.
Add Your Programs
Programs represent your shows. Each program can have multiple time slots throughout the week (e.g., "Morning News" might air Monday-Friday at 8am).
Navigate to Programs
From your station dashboard, click "Programs" in the left sidebar.
Click 'Add Program'
Click the "Add Program" button to create your first show.
Enter Program Details
Fill in the program information:
- Program Name - e.g., "The Morning Show", "Jazz Hour", "Sports Update"
- Description - What the show is about
- Genre/Category - Helps organize your content
- Program Image - A square image that represents the show
Add More Programs
Repeat for each show in your lineup. Don't worry about scheduling yet - we'll do that next.
Image Recommendations
- Format: Square images (1:1 ratio) work best
- Size: At least 500x500 pixels recommended
- File type: JPG or PNG
Pro Tip
Create all your programs before setting up the grid. This makes scheduling much easier since you can simply select from your existing programs when adding time slots.
Set Up Your Program Grid
The Program Grid is your weekly broadcast schedule. When you add a program to a time slot, episodes are automatically created for each broadcast.
Open the Program Grid
Click "Program Grid" in the left sidebar. You'll see a weekly calendar view.
Click on a Time Slot
Click on the day and time where you want to schedule a program. A dialog will appear.
Select a Program
Choose which program airs in this slot from the dropdown menu.
Set the Duration
Enter how long the program runs (e.g., 60 minutes, 120 minutes).
Save the Slot
Click "Save" to add the slot to your grid. The episode will be automatically created!
How Episodes Are Created
When you add a program to your grid, myradio.click automatically creates episodes:
- Episodes are created for upcoming broadcasts
- Each episode inherits the program's name and image
- You can edit episode details individually later
- Episodes repeat weekly based on your grid
Important
Make sure your station's timezone is correct before setting up the grid. Times are based on your station's configured timezone, not your browser's timezone.
Pro Tip
If a show airs multiple times per week (like a daily morning show), add it to each day separately. This gives you flexibility to have different durations or skip days if needed.
Embed on Your Website
Now let's get your program grid and on-demand content displayed on your website using widgets.
Navigate to Widgets
Click "Widgets" in the left sidebar of your station.
Create a New Widget
Click "Create Widget" and choose the type:
- Schedule Widget - Shows your weekly program grid
- On-Demand Widget - Lists available episodes with audio players
- Now Playing Widget - Shows what's currently on air
Configure the Widget
Customize how the widget looks - colors, layout, number of items to show, etc.
Copy the Embed Code
Once configured, you'll get an embed code that looks like this:
<iframe src="https://widgets.myradio.click/schedule/YOUR_WIDGET_ID" width="100%" height="600" frameborder="0"> </iframe>
Add to Your Website
Paste the embed code into your website's HTML where you want the widget to appear.
Widget Types Explained
Schedule Widget
Perfect for a "What's On" page. Shows your full weekly programming schedule in a visual grid or list format.
On-Demand Widget
Great for podcast-style listening. Lists episodes with play buttons so visitors can listen to past shows.
Now Playing Widget
Shows the current or next scheduled program. Perfect for your homepage or sidebar.
Pro Tip
Create multiple widgets for different purposes. Use a compact "Now Playing" widget in your sidebar, and a full schedule widget on a dedicated programming page.
Invite Your Presenters
Give your presenters access to manage their own shows. They can edit episode information and add playlist logs (track listings).
Go to Presenters
Click "Presenters" in the left sidebar.
Click 'Invite Presenter'
Click the invite button to add a new team member.
Enter Their Email
Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
Assign Programs
Select which programs this presenter should have access to. They'll only see their assigned programs.
Send the Invitation
Click "Send Invitation". They'll receive an email with a link to set up their account.
What Presenters Can Do
They CAN:
- View their assigned programs
- Edit episode titles and descriptions
- Add playlist logs (track listings)
- See their upcoming schedule
They CANNOT:
- Create or delete programs
- Modify the program grid
